Auto glass replacement and repair is included in the comprehensive coverage offered by most insurance companies, which means that there will be no charge passed on to the customer. At Allen Auto Glass we realize that not all insurance companies are created equal. If we feel that your insurance company is committed to the lowest price available, not the safest possible installation, we will make them understand the importance of returning your vehicle back to the manufacturer's original specifications. Allen Auto Glass will never re-bill our customers for short payment of parts required to return your vehicle back to the manufacturer's original specifications. We will pursue your insurance company.

| - Windshield Retention Crash (FMVSS 212)
STANDARD NO. 212 “Windshield Mounting” - Applies to Passenger Cars, Multipurpose Passenger Vehicles, Trucks, and Buses with a GVWR of 10,000 Pounds or Less. This standard establishes windshield retention requirements for motor vehicles during crashes. Its purpose is to provide for retention of the vehicle’s windshield during a crash, thereby utilizing fully the penetration-resistance and injury-avoidance properties of the windshield glazing materials and preventing the ejection of occupants from the vehicle.
| - Occupant Retention (FMVSS 208)
STANDARD NO. 208 “Occupant Crash Protection” - Applies to Passenger Cars, Multipurpose Passenger Vehicles, Trucks, Buses, Pressure Vessels, and Explosive Devices. This standard specifies performance requirements for the protection of vehicle occupants in crashes. Its purpose is to reduce the number of deaths of vehicle occupants, and the severity of injuries, by specifying vehicle crash worthiness requirements in terms of forces and accelerations measured on anthropomorphic dummies in test crashes, and by specifying equipment requirements for active and passive restraint systems.
| - Roof Crush (FMVSS 216)
STANDARD NO. 216 “Roof Crush Resistance” - Applies to Passenger Cars, Multipurpose Passenger Vehicles, Trucks, and Buses with a GVWR of 10,000 Pounds or Less. This standard establishes strength requirements for the passenger compartment roof. Its purpose is to reduce the crushing of the roof into the passenger compartment in rollover crashes.
| - Intrusion (FMVSS 219)
STANDARD NO. 219 “Windshield Zone Intrusion” - Applies to Passenger Cars, Multipurpose Passenger Vehicles, Trucks, and Buses with a GVWR of 10,000 Pounds or Less. This standard specifies limits for the displacement into the windshield area of motor vehicle components during a crash. Its purpose is to reduce crash injuries and fatalities that result from occupants contacting vehicle components displaced near or through the windshield.

Allen Auto Glass offers a limited lifetime warranty on workmanship and materials for as long as you own the vehicle. Allen Auto Glass reserves the right to inspect any problems that may arise during this time period. This does not cover damage due to body rot, abuse or neglect. |
