Q: My insurance company told me I can use only their approved glass shop. Is this true?
A:False. In Massachusetts you have the right to choose the shop you want to repair your vehicle. The insurance company can not "steer" you to the shop of their choice if you have a glass shop you wish to work with, it is illegall. They are required by law to let the consumer choose which auto glass faciltiy will work on their vehicle. The cost for auto glass replacement is covered by your insurance policy. Never let some one else decide who repairs your vehicle, it is your choice.You cannot be forced to do business with a company you do not know or do not wish to work with. Q: Do you work with insurance companies?
